Every year, the German Football League awards the pitch of the year for the best turf in the first and second German football leagues.
This year the order of the best turf in the first league was as follows

1) Volkswagen Arena, Wolfsburg
2) Signal Iduna Park Dortmund
3) Borussia-Park Mönchengladbach

We congratulate the operators and greenkeeper teams on their award. In all these stadiums the lawn is watered with PERROT irrigation. 
What is good for the big stadiums and arenas also helps the grass to grow at any other sports field.

In the second German league the awards goes to

1) Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor-Darmstadt, 
2) Continental Arena, Regensburg and 
3) Schüco Arena, Bielefeld
