The effects of climate change were also clearly noticeable at the Golf Club Bad Mergentheim. The existing irrigation system was not adequate to guarantee the turf quality in dry periods with high temperatures as well as to satisfy the increased demands of the golfers. Therefore, it was decided at the beginning of the year 2018 to carry out a complete renovation.

Golf Club Bad Mergentheim now also relies on the proven technology of the HYDRA rotor series. Individually controlled greens, an efficient coverage of the tees and the irrigation of the fairways all managed by the central control system "Perrot Satellite" and a new pumping station, ensure the highest possible quality of the playing areas and the efficient use of the water.
